Set up in a few minutes

  1. Download steer for Mac. Open the .dmg and move steer to your Applications folder.
  2. Open steer and follow the setup.
  3. Add the Chrome extension when steer asks for it, so it can use your browser.

Analytics

Tracks page visits, viewed sections, scroll depth, feature-link clicks, download clicks, request-access steps, and meeting-demo steps using PostHog, which also records your visit as a session replay with everything you type hidden, plus beta-signup and download conversions using X Ads, and page visits and signup and download conversions using Reddit Ads. Reddit Ads also receives a hashed (scrambled) copy of any email address or phone number you type on the site. Names, audio, transcripts, and other form answers stay private.

Visit data is sent to PostHog in the US and to Reddit, and PostHog also receives a session replay of your visit with everything you type hidden; signup and download conversions are sent to X Ads and Reddit, and Reddit receives a hashed email address or phone number if you type one on the site. Your choice is saved in this browser.
